So you know how I said a few days ago that I'd buy the other Aery games if they were on sale to see if they were just as bad as the original? Like, the NEXT DAY they were on sale for half off, so I waited until payday and got two of them for ten bucks.. Problem is there's one more, and they're really proud of this one because it's $15 and hasn't seen a sale for a long time, so I'll be waiting on that one.
I don't have time to play them today orthis week, but I'll give them a shot next week and let you know how they are
I did get some other games on sale too....I really need to stop. One is an 'EA Original' game (the concept of that alone, I find incredibly funny) that is kind of a happy medium between the two aforementioned flight games. This one is also a simple polygon modelled game, although they do take care into detailing some of the creatures, and while there's a nice mix of pastel colours, the light effects and glare from the sun does get old after a while, but the music is nice! It's called "Fe" and it has a LOT more going on. It's hard to describe, but I think it's best as like a 3-D Puzzle platformer with a hint of metroidvania. There's no real fighting of any kind, and there's a lot of hiding from bigger and more dangerous creatures. There's plenty to discover and fun ways to do the puzzles that the developers may not have intended! If you do decide to buy it (it's like $20 normally, I think?) Just be careful when you do unlock full flight, because I ended up stuck on the roof of the world for like an hour trying to figure out a way down without turning off my game
I did read some of the games you guys had been playing last time, and I think some of them sound really cool! I've definitely added them to my list of future plays.
I'm planning on buying a monitor and getting Edward set up here in the next few weeks, so maybe we'll be able to play those games together? I'll keep you posted :D
