So, off topic, one of my favourite animators uploaded their latest project last week and I just want to take a moment to gush about it. Please watch it and share the love, because this guy's work is amazing.
My brother and I have been watching Gildedguy since the days of Stickfight Arena and the origins of Hyun's Dojo. We both aspire to be half as good as some of these guys in terms of style and animation. Watching Michael's work again has reignited that flame in a very big way for me, and I am putting more of my heart and soul into my work than ever before; and my brother has also been inspired to continue his pixel art journey, whether he realizes it or not!
It may not hit you the same way as it did us, but I hope you can enjoy his work for what it is at the very least. And Whatever your story, make it yours. Tell it because it needs to be told.

Rant over, go watch the stickman fights! The inspiration of my childhood demands it! (that, and Law of Talos)

If none of that's of interest to you, than maybe more Pokemon is up your alley. I'm going to be having my very first livestream for my official LeafGreen Nuzlocke game starting at 3PM CST. I hope to see you there!

@Anarcho_Arsonist: I'm kinda sad I don't engage more, myself. I feel like I'm just leaving everyone in silence, and that's not my intention. I'm really glad that you're enjoying the story this second go around, and I hope it's everything it needs to be!

@Ves: Right?! Rewatching some of them today, I think Monty was inspired by them as well, I can definitely see that influence in RvB and into RWBY. (I fell off the RWBY train pretty early. it's cute, but it didn't quite jive with me)
Aw man! That's still cool though! My brother and I made a bunch of OC's at the time because we wanted to compete too. It never went anywhere, but we had a lot of fun.

You know, I really regret not commenting on this series more. Your comic is one of the one thought out Pokémon comics I’ve ever read. The world building is phenomenal and I’m on the edge of my seat with every page. I’m looking forward to our Vapereon’s reaction. I’m hoping it’s not as negative as I know it’s probably going to be.

I remember watching stickman fights! I still think that type of super fluid fight choreography is really cool. The most recent thing I've seen with that type of fight choreagraphy is the wen series RWBY. I don't think it's very good outside of the fight scenes but it has its fans.

I watched a few of those Law of Talos videos too because an animator i followed competed in it (he lost pretty early on).

If you liked stick-fight-like animations, you’d LOVE Alan Becker, he’s the best I’ve ever seen, and he’s even made an Pokémon version, which is very impressive how much he made it look like it was in the game at times
