Learning if fun, research is boring. I think the trick is to actually have an interest in the thing you're researching. I don't mind reading about the things I have thus far, I'm just having a hard time absorbing information from a resource that is a little too proud of themselves for the knowledge they do have.
Honestly though, I'm having more fun looking for research material than reading the actual material itself. Medieval swordplay, costumes through the ages, veterinarian textbooks, chemistry quick reference guides, Mortician testimonials. There's no end to the material available to me, the only issue is my attention span for any one topic. I'm making progress, slowly but surely; and I already have a notebook I'm gradually filling up with info and notes.
