I am really grateful I got a chance to get out of the house and get a change of pace for a couple of days. Helping out a couple weeks ago was nice, but this was even better.
I've also taken a look at the coming chapter and beyond and unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to revamp chapter 2 as well. This isn't because of art, the art is mostly fine.
Originally I wanted to stop at Two, because that's when I started doing backgrounds, but unfortunately, I have used the "PoB" incorrectly. The characters are nearly imperceptible from the BG and it's honestly ugly...
worse yet, at that very early stage in my writing, the end result was very jerky and had a lot of inorganic character introductions. I remember that being the main complaint about it
I know that's not what you want to hear, but I cannot, in good conscious, resume posting at such a sub-par level after making this much effort to make the story thus far better.
Good news: I've read the other chapters too. Three and onward are FINE as far as story and art. I need to fix a couple pages and frames here and there, but overall it's FINE. I DO NOT need to revamp any more.
and If I think I need to, yell at me.
