In all seriousness, the old version did make me cry, rewriting it made me cry, and this new one made me bawl. I do actually have a small project planned to explore Team Psychic-Fire from their rocky start all the way up to their prime and a bit more. I'm really looking forward to working on it in the future.
Now, I'll be totally honest. Reading the shorts are not required to understand the plot of Mitigation, that's beefy enough, it can stand on its own. Think of them more like.....DLC. Not required to finish, but add some beautiful lore and depth to the environment.
