https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Webcomic/Archipelago Dont forget the great tvtropes page for things too.
But what are some of the other ones you enjoy or are looking forward to? I do like that tapas and webtoons are letting folks get in the door, alongside comic fury.
And mistakes help us often grow more than success, because we learn both how we made the mistake, and if we are lucky, see how to improve as well.
This comic is a nice comic!

Another Weird Thing I Learned While Revamping

No, I'm not going to stop complaining about it, but I will acknowledge that it does some good to redo a couple pages or a chapter to see how far you've come from the beginning.
One of the best pieces of advice I've gotten, both as an artist and an illustrator, was from a woman by the name of Amelie Belcher, (which she, in turn, got from another artist she adores and will follow to the ends of the earth): "Don't strive for Perfect. Strive for Done."
If you're honestly wanting to get into comics or art but are worried about every little detail having to be just right, don't. I'm not too proud admit mistakes I've made on my own works, and I cannot tell you how many of those I've found on professionally produced anime and manga. Your first draft will be quick and dirty, and that's fine. It gives you a good direction to follow and you can always look back on it when you're stuck.
It's no secret this story started out as a hot mess of unplanned teenage ambition and ego, and it definitely did not look its best, but it's grown and so have I, and so have you.
I bring this up namely because I recently reread one of my favourite webcomics of all time, Archipelago. Its adorable and tropey and filled to the brim with beautiful settings and likable, fairly realistic characters. You should give it a read if you get the chance, at over 1k pages, it'll definitely hold your attention for a while and it is worth it. And with Smackjeeves dying soon, I think it's worth giving the site a farewell of sorts.
Most of the artists have left to host their comics on other sites or publish them on their own. And I love that.
And if you're like me and you want to be able to read those comics whenever, forever, I know Archipelago's author has actually published her comic on Amazon, and I am beyond excited to hold a copy. She hasn't revamped the beginning, but I look forward to entering that world again either way.
I don't want to bore you with more things I'm hyped about, I'm still hunting for some of the other comics I love so I can read them on their new websites, or buy them if I can't.
I hope you guys are all doing well and I'll see you all again very soon
